Mr. Bhatti, a native of Texas, is a noted thought leader and strategist of Artificial Intelligence. Considered as one of the most distinguished and creative leaders in the field, he brings to us over two decades of experience and expertise in innovation, technology and policy formulation. As the CEO and founder of the Texas AI Association, Mr. Bhatti is focused on advising lawmakers and other leaders in governance on AI policy and innovative technology that foster community engagement and ethical imperatives. He will answer questions relating to our conceptual understanding of the AI phenomenon and will address some of the common anxieties and misconceptions relating to its positive uses and potential misuse.

Mr. Bhatti will also bring to us his views on how AI is impacting nations, societies and communities globally and locally. He has been a sought-after speaker at many conferences and seminars, including the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, universities and high schools. He has been the driving force behind AI’s business development, policy and advocacy in the state of Texas and beyond. He has been an innovator of education and public understanding of AI as well as raising awareness and building communities around this technological revolution. He advises corporations, industries, public agencies, and non-profit organizations on AI innovation and adoption.

Mr. Bhatti is a former Vice President of Innovation and Research at the Dallas Regional Chamber, where he led the Technology Policy Task Force and organized Convergence AI — the first large scale AI conference in the Dallas Fort Worth area. He is the founder of Bhatti Strategies, LLC and co-founder of Sizzle App, LLC, where he integrated Augmented Reality (AR) into food review experiences.

Known for a strong commitment to serve public interest and a passion to enhance quality of life, Mr. Bhatti served as a Policy Advisor in the Office of the Governor of Texas and as a Policy Analyst for the Texas Senate Committee on Education. He co-founded Group Excellence Ltd., an educational startup that significantly improved student performance across the state of Texas. He is convinced that leveraging technology and democratizing AI advances will help solve real-world problems, meet societal challenges, enhance city governance  and spur responsible economic growth. He is also a firm advocate of ethical AI integration and business efficiency through automation.

Mr. Bhatti completed his education at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, where he also earned his Juris Doctor (JD).
