What is NCIV and why is it important?
NCIV is the National Council for International Vistitors. "NCIV is a national network of program agencies and more than 91 community-based organizations. These nonprofit groups design and implement professional programs as well as provide cultural activities and home hospitality for foreign leaders... By opening their homes, offices and schools to foreign leaders, NCIV member citizen diplomats foster international understanding and cooperation." Taken from nciv.org
What is the role of the World Affairs Council?
We are members to help facilitate and bring in international visitors to South Texas in order to learn about the best practices in their field and show them about American culture.
