"Korean culture and their education system"
, by Korean teachers, Heeyeol Park and Jin-Suk Kim.

The Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) assists educators and students worldwide to strengthen instructional programs, build effective management and administrative structures and develop a foundation for active, life-long learning.  As part of this program, two Korean teachers participating in the Fulbright Educational Program will be in Corpus Christi for two weeks observing and participating in the American public school system at Jones Elementary School in the CCISD.  The two teachers, Heeyeol Park and Jin-Suk Kim will present a program on Korean culture and the education system. The presentation will be followed by discussion and a question and answer session.  Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi College of Education is facilitating the visit of the two educators in the Corpus Christi area.

 

Location for the event was Munds Hall, Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 700 South Upper Broadway.  It took place from seven to nine in the evening.
